It offers a high-level scientific education to students pursuing careers in:

• Basic or applied scientific research.
• Higher education.
• Secondary education, particularly post-baccalaureate (preparatory classes for the grandes écoles).
• Working for state agencies, local governments, and businesses.

The 3 affiliated laboratories

The social sciences research cluster at ENS Paris-Saclay is supported by three research units affiliated with the CNRS:

• The Institute of Social Sciences of Politics (ISP)
• The Laboratory for Institutions and Historical Dynamics of the Economy and Society (IDHES)
• The Center for Economics at Paris-Saclay (CEPS)
